PT Korma Jaya Utama (PT KJU) is a long-established Indonesian soy sauce manufacturer founded in 1948 in Solo. With a strong focus on product quality, halal standards, and consistent taste, Korma has grown from a small family business into a food manufacturing company serving a broader market, including through its production facility in Jakarta.
As an intern in Supplier & Raw Material Management, I gained practical exposure to supply chain and production operations, particularly supplier and raw material management for soy sauce manufacturing. I experienced how supplier documentation, raw material quality, and production processes are interconnected within a food manufacturing environment.
Maintaining consistent raw material quality requires suppliers to meet defined quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. I supported supplier evaluation and qualification while gaining direct exposure to production processes and quality control practices.
